Don’t  Kill Your Deal

This home purchase, for most of you, is going to be stressful.  You’re going to be pulled in a hundred different directions, signing papers you haven’t had a chance to read, and giving strangers on the other end of the phone information you thought you’d take to the grave.
STEP BACK AND TAKE A BREATH
No home is perfect. Understand that most sellers are often unaware of the defects uncovered during an inspection.  For the most part, your inspection will be about maintenance recommendations, life expectancies, and minor imperfections.

Defects such as significant structural failures or items that may hinder your ability to finance, legally occupy, or insure the home are considered Major and may give you pause.  The rest, such as GFCI receptacles, leaking sinks, etc. can be corrected relatively inexpensively and your Agent knows how to handle this.

Keep things in perspective. Almost everything can be fixed.  If you like the home, and you like the location, don’t kill your deal over things that don’t matter.

“Dave displayed knowledge about every main components of the home. He has great work ethics and spent the time giving me a detailed report about the property. I would recommend and suggest for your prebuy home inspections to get hold of Dave at Site Wise and guarantee no deceptions . Dave has a great attitude and enjoyed interacting with him during his inspection and learned quite a bit about the house I purchased. Kudos.”
